The basis of evaluation is its quantitative evaluation 2020
We aim to remain a global leader in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability within the Passenger Shipping industry.
For the first time in 2017, we developed our Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Strategy 2018-2020 to systematically and quantitatively improve our performance. Within this context in 2021, we organized 9 meetings in 6 thematic Areas (Owners, Suppliers, Employees, Customers, Community and Environment), during which Management executives from all departments defined specific Actions and responsible employees for each of the 7 Areas of our Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Plan 2021-2023.
During 2023, we managed to complete 100%, 91 of the 123 actions of this Plan, while significant progress was also made in the implementation of the rest. As a result, we improved our responsible way of operating and incorporating ESG principles by 18.2%, compared to 2020.
Staying true to our commitment to responsible operation, the 3rd consecutive cycle of a three-year Strategy and Plan for Responsible & Sustainable Development 2024-2026 has already begun.
We have recognized that responsible operations contribute to the improvement of our performance and the achievement of our objectives.
We implemented for the first time a Survey of Social Partners to determine expectations in relation to Responsible and Sustainable Development. The survey was carried out online with 283 participants from the following categories of Social Partners:
