April: Attica Blue Hospitality expands its activities by acquiring the Galaxy Hotel in Naxos for 14 million euros.
October: Acquisition of the highspeed Ro-Pax vessel HIGHSPEED 3 by the 100% subsidiary HELLENIC SEAWAYS. The highspeed vessel was constructed in 2000 at Austal shipyard in Australia.
June - July: Delivery of the three catamaran vessels AERO 1 Highspeed, AERO 2 Highspeed and AERO 3 Highspeed built at Brødrene Aa shipyards of Norway.
July: Attica Blue Hospitality S.M.S.A (“Attica Blue Hospitality”), a 100% subsidiary of Attica Group, acquired the owning company of Tinos Beach hotel, for a total consideration of Euro 6.5 million.
January - March: Agreement for the construction of three (3) state-of-the-art Aero Catamaran vessels to serve the Saronic Islands. ATTICA GROUP secures of long term financing up to €55m.
December: Attica Blue Hospitality S.M.S.A (“Attica Blue Hospitality”), a 100% subsidiary of Attica Group, acquired the owning company of Naxos Resort Beach Hotel located in the Cycladic island of Naxos, in the Agios Georgios beach, for a total consideration of Euro 6.5 million, funded through bank financing.
While pandemic spreads across Europe and Greek Government imposes capacity restrictions, ATTICA GROUP implements specific and effective infection prevention measures certified by Bureau Veritas labeled ‘SAFEGUARD’.
July: Attica Group issues the first secured shipping retail bond of €175m listed in Athens Stock Exchange.
June: Attica Group acquires the RoRo Blue Carrier 1 for its domestic market operations.
January: Attica Group concludes the transition of its back office from SAP R3 deployed in 2005 to SAP S/4 HANA.
June: Attica Group celebrates a 100th years Shareholders General Assembly.
June: Attica Group announces the completion of the acquisition of an additional stake of 48.53% in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME S.A. dated 26.10.2017 for the acquisition of a total of 37,667,504 shares of HSW for a cash consideration of Euro 78.5 million. As per the same agreement, Attica Group sold and delivered SUPERFAST XII to a Grimaldi Group company for a cash consideration of € 74.5 million, and HSW sold and delivered HIGHSPEED 7 to Minoan Lines for a cash consideration of € 25 million. Following conclusion of the aforementioned transaction, Attica Group now holds 98.83% of the total share capital of HSW.
May: Attica Group announces the completion of the acquisition of a majority stake in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME COMPANY S.A. in the framework of the implementation of the agreement dated 11.08.2017 as it stands, with Piraeus Bank and another minority shareholder of HSW for the acquisition of a total of 37,789,833 shares of HSW for a total consideration of Euro 69.07 million.
April: Attica Group announces that the Hellenic Competition Commission, by power of its decision of 25.04.2018, approved the acquisition by Attica Group of sole control over Hellenic Seaways (HSW). The clearance of the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) was granted following certain commitments made by the Company, which according to the HCC’s assessment are adequate, sufficient and appropriate to ensure effective competition in the Greek Domestic Ferry sector. As per the commitments undertaken, the Company will not increase ticket fares in certain routes and will facilitate the entry of competitors onto relevant markets.
October: Attica Group announces that it has reached agreement with Minoan Lines S.A. for: (i) the acquisition (hereafter the "Acquisition") by Attica Group of 37,667,504 shares in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME S.A representing 48.53% of the share capital of HELLENIC SEAWAYS, for a cash consideration of Euro 78.5 million; (ii) the sale
of SUPERFAST XII vessel to a member company of the Grimaldi Group for a cash consideration of Euro 74.5 million; and (iii) the sale of HIGHSPEED 7 vessel to Minoan Lines for a cash consideration of Euro 25 million, after completion of the Acquisition and after all corporate and other approvals have been obtained.
June: BMCE Bank Of Africa Group, a leading Moroccan and pan-African banking group, and Attica Holdings S.A. (“Attica Group”), a subsidiary of Marfin Investment Group, the largest investment group in Southeast Europe, announce an agreement to operate scheduled ferry services from Morocco to Europe, through the newly-established Moroccan company AFRICA MOROCCO LINKS (“AML”). Attica Group holds a 49% participation in the new company, while 51% is held by a group of Moroccan shareholders led by BMCE Bank Of Africa Group.
April: Attica Group announces that, its subsidiary Blue Star Ferries Maritime S.A. took delivery of Ro-Pax BLUE GALAXY from shipowning company Hellas 2 Leasing M.C. under a bareboat charter agreement. The ship Is deployed on the Piraeus-Crete lines as part of the joint service with ANEK Lines S.A.
October: Attica Group announces the signing of an agreement for the sale of RoPax vessel Blue Star Ithaki to the Government of Canada.
March: Attica Holdings S.A. announces that it has contracted to sell to Genting Group the RoPax vessel Superfast VI.
June: Attica Group announces the delivery of the new-built Ro-Pax vessel Blue Star Patmos which was built at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd, of Korea. Greek-flagged Blue Star Patmos is the second of two vessels ordered in June 2009 and has overall length 145.50 meters, a speed of 26 knots and the capacity to carry 2,000 passengers and 440 private vehicles or 52 freight units and 146 private vehicles
March: Attica Group announces that it has concluded the sale of the RoPax vessel Superferry II to Golden Star Ferries Shipping Co
October: Attica Group announces the delivery of the new-built Ro-Pax vessel Blue Star Delos which was built at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd, of Korea. Blue Star Delos is the first of two vessels ordered in June 2009 and has overall length 145.50 meters, a speed of 26 knots and the capacity to carry 2,400 passengers and 440 private vehicles or 52 freight units and 146 private vehicles.
April: Attica Group announces the launch of a new service to be operated by car-passenger ferry Blue Horizon from Chania to Piraeus. through the launch of BLUE HORIZON in Chania and the established service of SUPERFAST XII in the route of Heraklion, strengthens its presence in Crete, by offering high standard services to the two main ports of the island and by contributing to the increase of the total traffic to Crete in a period of economic recession.
November: Attica Group announces the launching of Blue Star Delos in Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (DSME) in Korea. Blue Star Delos will be delivered in the second quarter of 2011 and will operate in the Cyclades islands.
December: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell to Golden Star Ferries Shipping Co, the 1974-built RoPax vessel Superferry II.The delivery of Superferry II to her new owners is due to take place in the second half of March 2011.
March: Attica Group announces the launch of a new ferry service linking Piraeus to the island of Kastellorizo to be operated by car-passenger ferry Diagoras. The service will be operated once a week year-round. The deployment of Diagoras on this new route raises the standards in domestic sea-transport, offering the highest standard of services to the residents and the visitors of KASTELLORIZO.
Attica Group announces the launch of a new service to be operated by car-passenger ferry Superfast XII from Heraklion to Piraeus. Superfast XII brings Heraklion closer to Piraeus, making Crete an attractive weekend destination not only in the summer but also during the winter season.
June: Attica Group announces the signing of shipbuilding contracts with Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (DSME), Korea for the building of two monohull-type, fast car-passenger ferries at a price of Euro 68.50mln a piece. The delivery of the first vessel will take place in spring 2011 and of the second vessel in the first quarter of 2012. Both ships are designed to operate in the Greek domestic waters. Group’s scope to provide first class sea transportation services in domestic and international waters with modern, new and fast ships will be further enhanced with the addition of these two units.
October: Attica Group announces the delivery of new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast II from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A., of Genoa, Italy which was built at Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, Italy in September 2009. Superfast II is the second of two vessels ordered, the first of which was delivered to Attica a year ago. Same as Superfast I, the vessel will be deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route.
December: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell to BRETAGNE ANGLETERRE IRLANDE S.A., France, the RoPax vessel Superfast V. The delivery of Superfast V will take place in February 2010.
January: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell its RoRo vessel Marin, built 1991, trading between Greece and Italy. The delivery of the vessel and final payment will take place in February 2008.
Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell its RoRo vessels Shield and Challenge. The delivery of the vessels and final payment will take place in February 2008. The two RoRos, built in 1998 and 1999 are time chartered and trade between UK and Ireland.

Attica Group announces, its decision, taken at the meeting of 26th February, 2008, to merge by absorption the Athens Exchange listed company Blue Star Maritime S.A. by Attica Group, as per provisions of article 69-77a of Common Law 2190/20, of articles 1 to 5 of Law 2166/1993 and other provisions of commercial law as applicable. It was also decided that the Transformation Balance Sheet date will be no later than 30th June, 2008.
March: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell its RoRo vessel Nordia, built 1991, to Compagnie Maritime Marfret of Marseilles. The delivery of the vessel and final payment will take place in April 2008.
Attica Group announces that Attica’s stock will cease trading on 14th March in order for the total number of shares of the company (104,173,680 shares) to be converted from bearer to nominal shares and will recommence on 20th March, 2008.
April: Attica Group announces that it has concluded the sale and delivery of its ice-class RoRo vessel Nordia to Compagnie Maritime Marfret, Marseilles.
June: Attica Group announces the agreement to acquire from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A., of Genoa, Italy two RoPax vessels currently under construction at Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, Italy. The first newbuilding will be delivered in autumn 2008 and the second in the summer/autumn 2009. Attica Group plans to deploy the vessels in routes where the Group’s vessels are presently operating.
September: Attica Group announces that as of 15th September, 2008 the Company’s new offices address will be the following: 123-125, Syngrou Avenue, & 3, Torva Street, 11745 Athens, Greece.
October: The Board of Directors of Attica Group wishes to announce the delivery of new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast I from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A, of Genoa, Italy which was built at Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, Italy. Superfast I is the first out of two vessels ordered, the second of which is expected to be delivered in the summer/autumn 2009. The vessel will be deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route.
December: Approved the Merger of the companies “Blue Star Maritime S.A.”, “Superfast Ferries Maritime S.A.”, and “Attica Holdings S.A.” through the Absorption of the first and second company by the third.
Attica Group announces that following the merger by absorption of Blue Star Maritime S.A., the share capital of the Company increased by the total amount of Euro 55,035,163, while at the same time the nominal value per share increased from Euro 0.60 to Euro 0.83 and 37,440,020 new common registered shares are issued, with a nominal value of Euro 0.83 each. Therefore, the share capital of Attica Holdings S.A. amounts to Euro 117,539,371 divided into 141,613,700 common, registered voting shares, with a nominal value of Euro 0.83 each.
February: Attica Group increases its stake in Minoan Lines to 22.25%

August: Attica proceeded in the assignment of new offices and new responsibilities to its Board Members.
On behalf of its subsidiaries Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries, Attica Group donated the amount of Euro 150,000 to the Special Relief Fund for the benefit of the victims of the recent fires in Greece.
September: Attica Group announces the purchase of two RoRo ships, built in 1998 and 1999.
October: Restructure of the Board of Directors.
Attica Group announces the delivery of two RoRo vessels the Shield (built in 1999) and the Challenge (built in 1998). Under the new ownership the two vessels will remain time-charter between the UK and Ireland.
February: Attica sells its 12.33% stake in Hellenic Seaways acquired a year earlier.
Blue Star Ferries receives the ‘Superbrand’ award recognized as a leading brand in Greece in the ‘Tourism Services’ industry.
March: Blue Star Ferries’ passenger-only catamaran SeaJet 2 is sold. The sale of the vessel is part of the Company’s policy to focus on the operation of fast, modern conventional car-passenger vessels.
April: Superfast VII, Superfast VIII and Superfast IX, serving on the Rostock, Germany – Hanko, Finland route in the Baltic Sea are sold to to AS Tallink Grupp. The sold vessels will retain their names and continue sailing under the Superfast livery until the end of 2007 at the latest, following an agreement with AS Tallink Grupp.
Attica Group maintains its presence in the Baltic Sea with the operation of its two RoRo vessels, which trade between Rostock, Germany and Uusikaupunki, Finland.
July: Attica’s subsidiary, Blue Star Maritime S.A. acquires the total assets of DANE Sea Line for a total of Euro 19.9mln. The assets included car-passenger ferry Diagoras which is deployed to the Dodecanese Islands’ market in August.
August: Attica enters into an agreement to sell to Veolia Transport its ice-class vessel Superfast X trading between Scotland and Belgium for a total cash consideration of Euro 112mln. The delivery of Superfast X and final payment is to take place at the beginning of 2007.
November: Attica enters into an agreement with Fret Cetam of France for the chartering of RoRo Nordia until October 2008. RoRo Nordia was deployed on the Uusikaupunki, Finland – Rostock, Germany route together with RoRo Marin. As of the beginning of 2007, RoRo Marin is to be redeployed from the Baltic Sea to serve the needs of the Group in the Greece-Italy routes in the Adriatic Sea and in the domestic market.
Blue Star Ferries is voted “Passenger Line of the Year” at Lloyd’s List Greek Shipping Awards.
December: Attica Group announces the deployment of Blue Star 1 of its subsidiary Blue Star Ferries to the Scotland-Belgium service as of the end of January 2007. Blue Star 1 is to replace Superfast X which was sold earlier in the year, and is to be delivered to her new owners in February 2007.
January: Attica Group enters the RoRo market with the acquisition of Marin and Nordia, two RoRo ships which are deployed between the ports of Rostock, Germany and Uusikaupunki, Finland, supplementing the company’s Baltic Sea services in operation since 2001.
Attica Group acquires a 12.33% interest in Hellas Flying Dolphins, later renamed Hellenic Seaways, a passenger and freight company essentially operating in the coastal island trade in the Aegean Sea.
February: Attica Group acquires 10.23% of the share capital of Minoan Lines S.A. eventually reaching an 11.61 % stake in the company.
March: Blue Star Ferries suspends the Piraeus-Chania, Crete route and vessel Blue Star 1 is redeployed on the Patras – Igoumenitsa – Bari route strengthening Blue Star Ferries’ presence on the Greece – Italy routes where the company is already active with one vessel.
July: Superfast Ferries North Sea service between Rosyth, Scotland and Zeebrugge, Belgium is awarded the highest 4-star grading by VisitScotland, Scotland’s Tourism Organisation, as an exceptional example within Scotland’s tourism industry.
September: Blue Star Ferries is voted the “Best Ferry Company in Greece” by the readers of Voyager magazine. The company received top votes by the readers of the magazine across the categories of staff/service, cabins, feeling of security, cleanliness, length of journey.
Superfast Ferries is voted ‘Best ferry company’ in the 19th Guardian, Observer and Guardian Unlimited Travel Awards 2005. The award is chosen by readers of the Guardian and Observer newspapers as well as the Guardian Unlimited online service and is the longest-running independent survey of its kind. Superfast won among 27,000 readers voting for the award.
November: In response to market demand and pursuing European network optimization, Superfast IX, until then on the North Sea route between Scotland and Belgium, joins Superfast VII and Superfast VIII in the Baltic Sea on the route between Rostock, Germany and Hanko, Finland. The Superfast Ferries Scotland-Belgium service in the North Sea, will be operated with Superfast X.
Superfast Ferries is voted ‘Best Ferry Operator’ by the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association for the second consecutive year, with approximately 700 associated travel agents in Scotland voting for the award. The Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association is the oldest travel trade association in the world, established in 1921.
January: Superfast IX and Superfast X, which operate on the Scotland – Belgium route, are voted as “Best” ferry overall among 15 ferries operating out of the UK by "Holiday Which?" magazine, the publication of the British Consumers' Association.
Attica Enterprises enters into an agreement with Atlantic Navigazione of Grimaldi Group, Napoli, for the acquisition by the latter of Superfast I. The ship is delivered to her new owners at the end of February, 2004. The sale of Superast I concludes the sale of four first-generation vessels of Superfast Ferries. The Superfast Ferries fleet consists now of eight brand new car-passenger Superfast ferries built from 2001 onwards with an average age of less than three years.

March: Blue Star Ferries focusing its activities ever more in the Greek domestic market employs, inaugurates one more new route that between Piraeus and Chania, Crete. The service is operated by Blue Star 2.
July: Attica Enterprises enters into an agreement with the Government of Tasmania (Australia) and TT-Line Pty Ltd. of Tasmania for the acquisition by the latter of Superfast II for service between Sydney and Tasmania.

May: Superfast Ferries emerges as front runner in another international tender for the operation of a ferry route between Great Yarmouth in the United Kingdom and continental Europe.
Launch of the new Superfast Ferries service between Rosyth, Scotland and Zeebrugge, Belgium . Newly built Superfast IX and Superfast X operate the route, the first direct ferry route between Scotland and the European continent.
June: Blue Star Ferries takes delivery of newly built Blue Star Naxos from Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. Ltd Shipyards in Korea which is deployed in the Cycladic Islands' routes.
July: Delivery of ultramodern car-passenger ferry Superfast XI, built at Flender Werft AG in Lubeck, Germany and deployment in the Adriatic Sea routes between the ports of Patras, Igoumenitsa and Ancona. Blue Star Ferries deploys car-passenger ferry Blue Star 1 on a new route between Piraeus-Patmos-Leros-Kos and Rhodes setting new standards for travel in the Dodecanese.
September: Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries, first Greek passenger ferry companies to receive ISO 14001 certification by ABS Quality Evaluations, a member of the international American Bureau of Shipping group.
October: Delivery of ultramodern car-passenger ferry Superfast XII, built at Flender Werft AG in Lubeck, Germany. The delivery of Superfast XII marks the completion of the ambitious investment programme for twelve Superfast ferries which began in 1993 with the order of Superfast I and Superfast II.
February and April: Delivery of Superfast VI and Superfast V from Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft AG in Kiel, Germany. Both ships are deployed in the Adriatic Sea routes.
May: Superfast VII commences operations between the ports of Rostock, Germany and Hanko, Finland, marking the inauguration of Superfast Ferries’ Baltic operations and is joined on the same route by sister vessel Superfast VIII in July.
June: The port of Zeebrugge in Belgium is selected by Superfast Ferries as the corresponding port on the new North Sea service out of Rosyth due to be launched in May, 2002.
September: Attica Enterprises S.A., following shareholder approval, issues a fully underwritten, three-year, Euro 45 million convertible bond.
November: Attica Enterprises and Costa Crociere, the leading Italian and European cruise company, sign a letter of intent to create two joint ventures in cruise and ferry operations.
March: Order of two new Superfast car-passenger ferries at Flender Werft AG scheduled for delivery in March and May, 2002.
May: Delivery of the first new generation vessel for Blue Star Ferries, car-passenger ferry Blue Star Ithaki from Daewoo Heavy Industries Ltd. Shipyards in Korea. The ship is deployed in the domestic Cycladic Islands’ routes and becomes the market’s best-seller.
June and July: Delivery of Blue Star 1 and Blue Star 2 from Van der Giessen de Noord N.V. Ship yards in the Netherlands, for Blue Star Ferries. Both ships are deployed in the Adriatic Sea routes.
September: Superfast Ferries selected by Scottish Enterprise as the preferred bidder among 42 companies to run a direct ferry service from Rosyth in Fife, Scotland to continental Europe.
August: Agreement with shareholders of Athens-listed Strintzis Lines Shipping S.A. for the acquisition of 38.8% of the shares of the latter, eventually reaching a 48.8% stake in the company. Rebranded to Blue Star Ferries, Strintzis Lines owns today a fleet of 10 ferries operating in the Greek coastal routes and between Greece and Italy.
December: Establishment of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Attica Premium S.A., which undertakes the General Sales Representation of the Group’s vessels in the greater Athens area and in the Aegean Sea, Central and Northern Greece and in various countries of the European Union
April: Delivery of Superfast III and Superfast IV which are deployed on the Patras-Ancona-Patras route, while Superfast I and Superfast II launch a new route linking Patras and Igoumenitsa with Bari in southern Italy.
July: Order of four new Superfast car-passenger ferries at Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft AG with an option for two more units, confirmed in March 1999. The first pair (Superfast V and Superfast VI) to join Superfast I, Superfast II, Superfast III and Superfast IV in the Greece-Italy routes. The other four ships (Superfast VII, Superfast VIII, Superfast IX and Superfast X) to trade in the Baltic Sea.
July: Order of two new Superfast car-passenger ferries, Superfast III and Superfast IV, at Kvaerner Masa-Yards in Turku, Finland.
April and June: Delivery and employment of Superfast I and Superfast II in the Patras-Ancona-Patras service. The two ferries revolutionise travel by cutting the crossing time between Patras and Ancona by up to 40%.

June: Attica Group announces the completion of the acquisition of an additional stake of 48.53% in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME S.A. dated 26.10.2017 for the acquisition of a total of 37,667,504 shares of HSW for a cash consideration of Euro 78.5 million. As per the same agreement, Attica Group sold and delivered SUPERFAST XII to a Grimaldi Group company for a cash consideration of € 74.5 million, and HSW sold and delivered HIGHSPEED 7 to Minoan Lines for a cash consideration of € 25 million. Following conclusion of the aforementioned transaction, Attica Group now holds 98.83% of the total share capital of HSW.
May: Attica Group announces the completion of the acquisition of a majority stake in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME COMPANY S.A. in the framework of the implementation of the agreement dated 11.08.2017 as it stands, with Piraeus Bank and another minority shareholder of HSW for the acquisition of a total of 37,789,833 shares of HSW for a total consideration of Euro 69.07 million.
April: Attica Group announces that the Hellenic Competition Commission, by power of its decision of 25.04.2018, approved the acquisition by Attica Group of sole control over Hellenic Seaways (HSW). The clearance of the Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) was granted following certain commitments made by the Company, which according to the HCC’s assessment are adequate, sufficient and appropriate to ensure effective competition in the Greek Domestic Ferry sector. As per the commitments undertaken, the Company will not increase ticket fares in certain routes and will facilitate the entry of competitors onto relevant markets.
October: Attica Group announces that it has reached agreement with Minoan Lines S.A. for: (i) the acquisition (hereafter the "Acquisition") by Attica Group of 37,667,504 shares in HELLENIC SEAWAYS MARITIME S.A representing 48.53% of the share capital of HELLENIC SEAWAYS, for a cash consideration of Euro 78.5 million; (ii) the sale
of SUPERFAST XII vessel to a member company of the Grimaldi Group for a cash consideration of Euro 74.5 million; and (iii) the sale of HIGHSPEED 7 vessel to Minoan Lines for a cash consideration of Euro 25 million, after completion of the Acquisition and after all corporate and other approvals have been obtained.
June: BMCE Bank Of Africa Group, a leading Moroccan and pan-African banking group, and Attica Holdings S.A. (“Attica Group”), a subsidiary of Marfin Investment Group, the largest investment group in Southeast Europe, announce an agreement to operate scheduled ferry services from Morocco to Europe, through the newly-established Moroccan company AFRICA MOROCCO LINKS (“AML”). Attica Group holds a 49% participation in the new company, while 51% is held by a group of Moroccan shareholders led by BMCE Bank Of Africa Group.
April: Attica Group announces that, its subsidiary Blue Star Ferries Maritime S.A. took delivery of Ro-Pax BLUE GALAXY from shipowning company Hellas 2 Leasing M.C. under a bareboat charter agreement. The ship Is deployed on the Piraeus-Crete lines as part of the joint service with ANEK Lines S.A.

Blue Star Delos is the first of two vessels ordered in June 2009 and has overall length 145.50 meters, a speed of 26 knots and the capacity to carry 2,400 passengers and 440 private vehicles or 52 freight units and 146 private vehicles.
April: Attica Group announces the launch of a new service to be operated by car-passenger ferry Blue Horizon from Chania to Piraeus. through the launch of BLUE HORIZON in Chania and the established service of SUPERFAST XII in the route of Heraklion, strengthens its presence in Crete, by offering high standard services to the two main ports of the island and by contributing to the increase of the total traffic to Crete in a period of economic recession.
November: Attica Group announces the launching of Blue Star Delos in Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (DSME) in Korea. Blue Star Delos will be delivered in the second quarter of 2011 and will operate in the Cyclades islands.
December: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell to Golden Star Ferries Shipping Co, the 1974-built RoPax vessel Superferry II.The delivery of Superferry II to her new owners is due to take place in the second half of March 2011.
March: Attica Group announces the launch of a new ferry service linking Piraeus to the island of Kastellorizo to be operated by car-passenger ferry Diagoras. The service will be operated once a week year-round. The deployment of Diagoras on this new route raises the standards in domestic sea-transport, offering the highest standard of services to the residents and the visitors of KASTELLORIZO.
Attica Group announces the launch of a new service to be operated by car-passenger ferry Superfast XII from Heraklion to Piraeus. Superfast XII brings Heraklion closer to Piraeus, making Crete an attractive weekend destination not only in the summer but also during the winter season.
June: Attica Group announces the signing of shipbuilding contracts with Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co. (DSME), Korea for the building of two monohull-type, fast car-passenger ferries at a price of Euro 68.50mln a piece. The delivery of the first vessel will take place in spring 2011 and of the second vessel in the first quarter of 2012. Both ships are designed to operate in the Greek domestic waters. Group’s scope to provide first class sea transportation services in domestic and international waters with modern, new and fast ships will be further enhanced with the addition of these two units.
October: Attica Group announces the delivery of new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast II from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A., of Genoa, Italy which was built at Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, Italy in September 2009. Superfast II is the second of two vessels ordered, the first of which was delivered to Attica a year ago. Same as Superfast I, the vessel will be deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route.
December: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell to BRETAGNE ANGLETERRE IRLANDE S.A., France, the RoPax vessel Superfast V. The delivery of Superfast V will take place in February 2010.

Attica Group announces, its decision, taken at the meeting of 26th February, 2008, to merge by absorption the Athens Exchange listed company Blue Star Maritime S.A. by Attica Group, as per provisions of article 69-77a of Common Law 2190/20, of articles 1 to 5 of Law 2166/1993 and other provisions of commercial law as applicable. It was also decided that the Transformation Balance Sheet date will be no later than 30th June, 2008.
March: Attica Group announces that it has contracted to sell its RoRo vessel Nordia, built 1991, to Compagnie Maritime Marfret of Marseilles. The delivery of the vessel and final payment will take place in April 2008.

October: The Board of Directors of Attica Group wishes to announce the delivery of new-built Ro-Pax vessel Superfast I from Grimaldi Holding S.p.A, of Genoa, Italy which was built at Nuovi Cantieri Apuania, Italy. Superfast I is the first out of two vessels ordered, the second of which is expected to be delivered in the summer/autumn 2009. The vessel will be deployed in the Patras-Igoumenitsa-Bari route.
December: Approved the Merger of the companies “Blue Star Maritime S.A.”, “Superfast Ferries Maritime S.A.”, and “Attica Holdings S.A.” through the Absorption of the first and second company by the third.
Attica Group announces that following the merger by absorption of Blue Star Maritime S.A., the share capital of the Company increased by the total amount of Euro 55,035,163, while at the same time the nominal value per share increased from Euro 0.60 to Euro 0.83 and 37,440,020 new common registered shares are issued, with a nominal value of Euro 0.83 each. Therefore, the share capital of Attica Holdings S.A. amounts to Euro 117,539,371 divided into 141,613,700 common, registered voting shares, with a nominal value of Euro 0.83 each.

March: Blue Star Ferries’ passenger-only catamaran SeaJet 2 is sold. The sale of the vessel is part of the Company’s policy to focus on the operation of fast, modern conventional car-passenger vessels.
April: Superfast VII, Superfast VIII and Superfast IX, serving on the Rostock, Germany – Hanko, Finland route in the Baltic Sea are sold to to AS Tallink Grupp. The sold vessels will retain their names and continue sailing under the Superfast livery until the end of 2007 at the latest, following an agreement with AS Tallink Grupp.
Attica Group maintains its presence in the Baltic Sea with the operation of its two RoRo vessels, which trade between Rostock, Germany and Uusikaupunki, Finland.
July: Attica’s subsidiary, Blue Star Maritime S.A. acquires the total assets of DANE Sea Line for a total of Euro 19.9mln. The assets included car-passenger ferry Diagoras which is deployed to the Dodecanese Islands’ market in August.
August: Attica enters into an agreement to sell to Veolia Transport its ice-class vessel Superfast X trading between Scotland and Belgium for a total cash consideration of Euro 112mln. The delivery of Superfast X and final payment is to take place at the beginning of 2007.
November: Attica enters into an agreement with Fret Cetam of France for the chartering of RoRo Nordia until October 2008. RoRo Nordia was deployed on the Uusikaupunki, Finland – Rostock, Germany route together with RoRo Marin. As of the beginning of 2007, RoRo Marin is to be redeployed from the Baltic Sea to serve the needs of the Group in the Greece-Italy routes in the Adriatic Sea and in the domestic market.

December: Attica Group announces the deployment of Blue Star 1 of its subsidiary Blue Star Ferries to the Scotland-Belgium service as of the end of January 2007. Blue Star 1 is to replace Superfast X which was sold earlier in the year, and is to be delivered to her new owners in February 2007.
January: Attica Group enters the RoRo market with the acquisition of Marin and Nordia, two RoRo ships which are deployed between the ports of Rostock, Germany and Uusikaupunki, Finland, supplementing the company’s Baltic Sea services in operation since 2001.

September: Blue Star Ferries is voted the “Best Ferry Company in Greece” by the readers of Voyager magazine. The company received top votes by the readers of the magazine across the categories of staff/service, cabins, feeling of security, cleanliness, length of journey.
Superfast Ferries is voted ‘Best ferry company’ in the 19th Guardian, Observer and Guardian Unlimited Travel Awards 2005. The award is chosen by readers of the Guardian and Observer newspapers as well as the Guardian Unlimited online service and is the longest-running independent survey of its kind. Superfast won among 27,000 readers voting for the award.
November: In response to market demand and pursuing European network optimization, Superfast IX, until then on the North Sea route between Scotland and Belgium, joins Superfast VII and Superfast VIII in the Baltic Sea on the route between Rostock, Germany and Hanko, Finland. The Superfast Ferries Scotland-Belgium service in the North Sea, will be operated with Superfast X.
Superfast Ferries is voted ‘Best Ferry Operator’ by the Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association for the second consecutive year, with approximately 700 associated travel agents in Scotland voting for the award. The Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association is the oldest travel trade association in the world, established in 1921.
January: Superfast IX and Superfast X, which operate on the Scotland – Belgium route, are voted as “Best” ferry overall among 15 ferries operating out of the UK by "Holiday Which?" magazine, the publication of the British Consumers' Association.
Attica Enterprises enters into an agreement with Atlantic Navigazione of Grimaldi Group, Napoli, for the acquisition by the latter of Superfast I. The ship is delivered to her new owners at the end of February, 2004. The sale of Superast I concludes the sale of four first-generation vessels of Superfast Ferries. The Superfast Ferries fleet consists now of eight brand new car-passenger Superfast ferries built from 2001 onwards with an average age of less than three years.

Launch of the new Superfast Ferries service between Rosyth, Scotland and Zeebrugge, Belgium . Newly built Superfast IX and Superfast X operate the route, the first direct ferry route between Scotland and the European continent.

September: Superfast Ferries and Blue Star Ferries, first Greek passenger ferry companies to receive ISO 14001 certification by ABS Quality Evaluations, a member of the international American Bureau of Shipping group.
October: Delivery of ultramodern car-passenger ferry Superfast XII, built at Flender Werft AG in Lubeck, Germany. The delivery of Superfast XII marks the completion of the ambitious investment programme for twelve Superfast ferries which began in 1993 with the order of Superfast I and Superfast II.
February and April: Delivery of Superfast VI and Superfast V from Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft AG in Kiel, Germany. Both ships are deployed in the Adriatic Sea routes.
May: Superfast VII commences operations between the ports of Rostock, Germany and Hanko, Finland, marking the inauguration of Superfast Ferries’ Baltic operations and is joined on the same route by sister vessel Superfast VIII in July.

August: Agreement with shareholders of Athens-listed Strintzis Lines Shipping S.A. for the acquisition of 38.8% of the shares of the latter, eventually reaching a 48.8% stake in the company. Rebranded to Blue Star Ferries, Strintzis Lines owns today a fleet of 10 ferries operating in the Greek coastal routes and between Greece and Italy.
December: Establishment of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Attica Premium S.A., which undertakes the General Sales Representation of the Group’s vessels in the greater Athens area and in the Aegean Sea, Central and Northern Greece and in various countries of the European Union
April: Delivery of Superfast III and Superfast IV which are deployed on the Patras-Ancona-Patras route, while Superfast I and Superfast II launch a new route linking Patras and Igoumenitsa with Bari in southern Italy.
July: Order of four new Superfast car-passenger ferries at Howaldtswerke Deutsche Werft AG with an option for two more units, confirmed in March 1999. The first pair (Superfast V and Superfast VI) to join Superfast I, Superfast II, Superfast III and Superfast IV in the Greece-Italy routes. The other four ships (Superfast VII, Superfast VIII, Superfast IX and Superfast X) to trade in the Baltic Sea.
